Nanny Share
Modern Family Focus specialises in nanny share positions and believes it offers a unique childcare solution, especially for under 2 year olds.

Nanny share is a personal arrangement whereby two or more families join together to employ a nanny to care for their children.  This has the benefit of keeping the costs of care more affordable while having your children in the home environment and in the company of other children.  Nanny share can be arranged between extended families, friends, neighbours or those from the same workplace.  We understand that the cost of a personal nanny is a luxury beyond the means of many families.  Nanny share will allow you the benefits of a personal nanny while making it an affordable option for at home care.  Modern Family Focus can assist you in making this unique arrangement suitable to the families involved.

Au Pairs
An Au Pair is usually an overseas visitor, who lives with a family and looks after children or does light household duties in return for meals, a room, learning the language and a small payment.  Au Pairs should not be regarded as an employee but rather as a cultural exchange and an equal member of the family who receives pocket money on a weekly basis.  Au Pairs are sometimes requested to baby-sit for 1-2 nights per week as part of the exchange.
