Modern Family Focus has taken the time to research and revolutionise in-home care by providing you with updated information and packages to assist you in the hiring process and ongoing care for your child/ren.  Our trained staff understand the pressures families are under; work, childcare, household, time and money.  We will take all these factors into consideration to accommodate you to the best of our potential.  Our service can include a visit to your home to fully understand your requirements.  Please talk to our staff about finding the right solution to take some much needed pressure off you!!!

Modern Family Focus will provide a checklist for you and your carer.  You will both need to agree upon various aspects of their employment.  Exchanging this information prior to employment allows both parties to understand exactly what is expected and their respective conditions of employment.  Modern Family Focus will provide you with helpful hints to assist in the employment process.

Modern Family Focus has a small non-refundable application fee in order to process your request (This amount will be deducted from your placement fee).  Once a match has been made the quoted placement fee is payable in full prior to the commencement date of your chosen carer.  Should there be an unexpected incompatibility with the selected carer within the first three months of employment, Modern Family Focus will firstly offer to mediate any complications and/or will gladly find you a replacement carer free of charge.

Modern Family Focus is more than happy to advertise on your behalf for your specific requirements.  This service will be billed to you separately.  If you wish to go ahead, please contact our office or fax through your reqest.

Modern Family Focus also provides you with loyalty discounts for babysitting and occasional care.  For every 5 bookings Modern Family Focus will give you one free booking fee as a thank you for your loyalty.

We also have beautiful gift vouchers for all of our services for your extended family and friends.  This is a great way to allow those you care about to rest and recuperate or to lend them a helping hand.  Vouchers can be personalised to meet your requests. Upon successful selection of a permanent carer, your family will be sent a ‘Focus Care Kit’.  This folder provides you and your carer with important information in regards to the care of your child/ren, the employment of your carer, home safety checks and emergency details.  This folder can be transported from location to location and be used by any person.  Just another way to make the whole process smoother!
For non-permanent placements, the Focus Care Kit can be purchased for a small $40 fee

Modern Family Focus is happy to provide you with the opportunity to trial a carer before confirming their employment.   Take this as an opportunity to observe the carer’s interactions between your child/ren and your family as a whole.  This might just be the peace of mind you were looking for!  Trial Days are available to permanent placements only.  An additional placement fee of $25 will be charged and is payable upon booking.  Direct payment to the carer is also required at the rate he/she will be employed under.
